| Purpose: | To support projects that align with the mission of the foundation. The focus area of this program is to develop new ideas and strengthen organizations that reduce poverty and injustice and promote democratic values, international cooperation, and human achievement. This program supports a variety of approaches to addressing areas of interest including: support of emerging leaders, work with social justice movements and networks, sponsorship of research and dialogue, creation of new organizations, and support of innovations that enhance the quality of living. Activities supported through this program should be charitable, educational, or scientific in nature. The foundation supports opportunities for women and minorities and considers those opportunities when reviewing application proposals.
