Purpose:	To support the prevention of injury and illness by addressing health and social issues through education, applied research, technology, and equipment. Projects should be concerned with emergency at every state of trauma, with particular attention paid to first response at the time and place of emergency. Priority will be given to projects in the following order: Coronary trauma and heart wellness; All types of trauma; Trauma prevention and trauma causes.
