Total Amount:	Applicants must provide at least 50 percent of the total project cost. Matching funds may come in the form of cash and in-kind contributions. At least 50 percent of the match must be provided in cash. An unspecified amount of funding is available for this program. General program support awards will go to cultural organizations, and cultural institutions. Cultural organization awards will range from $2,500 to $100,000 each.

Purpose:	To support significant public programs that preserve, strengthen, and foster excellence and diversity in art or culture for Florida's residents and visitors. This program encourages a commitment to outreach and educational services to underserved areas and populations and increased access for persons with disabilities. The program is designed to support projects that promote excellence in various disciplines and make such excellence accessible for community-wide audiences. This program will fund projects through the following categories: Specific Projects fund particular projects or programs that support the growth of the applicant organization and advance Florida's cultural objectives General Program Support supplements the financial resources of organizations that are realizing their stated mission and furthering Florida's cultural objectives
