Purpose:To support building sustainable community-linked infrastructure to enable health sciences research. Grant funds will be used to support the development or reconfiguration of the infrastructures necessary to build collaborations between academic health centers and community-based organizations. The relationships formed should help to transform and accelerate the pace, productivity, dissemination, and implementation of health sciences research.
Preliminary Review Comments:
Letters of intent due: November 12; Full proposals due December 11, 2009. All researchers, community members and other persons interested in submitting an application in response to this "Grand Opportunities" RFA are strongly encouraged to attend the technical assistance meeting either in person or online. The workshops/videocasts will be held Friday, October 23rd at *10:30 am-1:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), *And 2:00-4:30 pm (EDT). http://videocast.nih.gov
