| Purpose: | To contribute to the quality of life in underserved communities and increase affordable housing opportunities. Both general operating support and project-specific funding may be provided.
Standard program categories for this program are: Health and Human Services: support for organizations that aid disabled, youth, and senior citizens in health-related capacities; Education: support for primary, middle, secondary, and higher education entities, as well as projects regarding literacy, safety education, and educational access; Civic and Community: support for housing and economic development, neighborhood and local government groups, environmental and public policy, justice, and employment programs; Arts and Culture: support for cultural centers, museums, libraries, arts education, botanical gardens and zoos, public radio and television.
