Purpose:To support communities through the promotion of entrepreneurship and education. By offering support through this program, the foundation intends to work with partners to promote entrepreneurial success at all levels, as well as improve the academic achievement of disadvantaged children. In addition to consultation and technical assistance, successful applicants may receive idea grants to begin developing innovative projects, seed grants to pilot and test new ideas, and/or scale grants to refine good programs and bring them up to scale. Eligible applicants for this program are organizations that work in the areas of entrepreneurship and education. The majority of education awards go to organizations within the metropolitan area of Kansas City, Missouri. However, the foundation also supports organizations from throughout the country with their entrepreneurship projects. Many awards go to institutions of higher education.
